Tax planning is an important process for any profitable business owner or physician. To ignore this process could mean you are paying too much tax or will have some bad surprises when it is time to settle up with the taxing authorities. Tax planning will eliminate these “bad surprises”. A great benefit to tax planning is you know exactly where you stand and can budget appropriately, smoothing out the bumps in the road.
We listen to the client’s desires. There may be some tax strategies that are too complex for what a particular client desires. Or simply put, to that person, the tax savings may not be significant enough to outweigh the additional complexity. This is where the expression “don’t let the tax tail wag the dog” comes from. All financial decisions are not necessarily tax driven.
We saw a tremendous need to emphasize the tax planning process of the business owner, physician and high net worth individual. With the complexity and ever changing nature of our tax laws and systems, the CPA is most the most qualified and capable advisor. Our goal is simple, good service and no surprises. Our practice will be limited to only the clients that we feel will benefit from our unique approach.
